ManSoc conducts FTF Induction Night, introduces officers

The Management Society (ManSoc), one of the official institutions of the School of Business and Accountancy (SBA) initiated its first face-to-face annual Induction Night since the pandemic, yesterday, August 9, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Don Juan D. Nepomuceno Plaza.

 

With the theme, “SIBUL: Pag-usbong sa Panibagong Yugto ng Kahusayan,” the event aimed to introduce and conduct the induction rites of the new executive officers of the organization.

 

“We chose this theme to incorporate the new era for ManSoc,” Janine Garcia, co-project head of Kian Sebuguero, said when asked about the inspiration for the theme.

 

Also, the project heads focused on making the event a modern Filipino fiesta motif, in line with the Buwan ng Wika celebration.

 

During the program, Garcia delivered the opening remarks, followed by Alfred Guillermo, Vice President for Planning of ManSoc, acknowledging the esteemed guests present at the event.

 

Shortly after, the outgoing officers formally passed their pins to the newly-elected executives during the induction rites, including the following positions: President, Vice President, Directors, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Relations Officer, and Business Manager.

 

Jared Ezekiel Manio as the President, Alfred Guillermo as VP for Planning, Janine Garcia as VP for Leading, Paul Joshua Carlos as VP for Staffing, Khelsie Tungcab as VP for Organizing, and Monica Isabel Mapua as VP for Controlling.

 

Meanwhile, this new term comprised a new set of Directors, namely: Carla Marie Sison for Planning, Tyron Neil Tayag for Leading, Chasmin Jei Lapuz for Staffing, Rose Anne Deang for Organizing, and Cho Cantilado for Controlling.

 

Other officers included Vivian Rivera as Secretary, Nicole Anne Antonio as Treasurer, Keanna Tayag as Auditor, Pierce Ashford Philippe Atendido as Public Relations Officer, and Albert Francis Principio as Business Manager.

 

The program also recognized its Heads in charge: Howard Billy Guiterrez for Auxiliary, Kian Onin Sebuguero for Technical, and Angeline Gabrielle Marquez for Creatives.

 

Dr. Jesus D. Panlilio, the founder of ManSoc, led the oath-taking of the new term in signifying their commitment to upholding the values and responsibilities of their respective roles.

 

Ms. Julie Anne Mary Cruz, one of the organization’s advisers, concluded the program with a closing remark.

 

Further, OIC University President Mr. Leopaldo Jaime N. Valdes, SBA Dean Dr. Albert G. Morales, and other SBA faculty are present during the event.

 

As per ManSoc, they thrive to foster stronger relations in the community. Meanwhile, the organization is still open to accepting new members.
