JPIAA-U spearheads APTAS 2024, launches first ftf events

The Annual Provincial Technical Accounting Summit (APTAS), headed by the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants and Auditors-United Inc. (JPIAA-U), launched its first face-to-face activities and technical sessions last May 11, 2024, at Peter G. Nepomuceno (PGN) Auditorium. 

With the theme “An Ascent to the Apex” stylized with the iconic jeepney, APTAS 2024 is an initiation experience aiming to connect future accountants and auditors with top-notch professionals in the industry through different segments.

The event consisted of technical sessions with five industry talks delivered by experts from different accounting providers, such as Scrubbed, SGV & Co., REO, P&A Grant Thornton, and Insights Financial Review Services Inc. The representatives of these companies shared their experiences and insights, educating students in preparation for their future careers as accountants and auditors. 

Meanwhile, the celebration concluded with a roundtable discussion that dissected the four areas of accounting practice with resource speakers Mr. Arnold Salcedo, Mr. Robert Ladrillo, Mr. Raphy Leonardo Ortanez, and Ms. Emilie Laxina, who provided insights from different sectors, including public, private, and academic institutions. 

APTAS is an annual event from JPIAA-U that invites all bona fide College and Senior High School students enrolled solely in the accounting program within Pampanga.
