The Holy Angel University’s School of Business and Accountancy (HAU-SBA) hosted a two-day Asian Regional Conference with guest speakers from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) last November 20 and 21 at the auditorium of Peter G. Nepomuceno (PGN) building.
With the theme: “Sustainability in Business Education: Towards Industry-Ready Business Graduates,” the conference invited business educators, researchers, and students to share their knowledge. Some invited speakers include Dr. Wei Wei, Rev. Professor Stephen David Morgan, Dr. Archish Maharaja, and Jaime Noel Santos.
The third-year Accountancy and Business Management students attended the morning plenary sessions, while Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and selected fourth-year students participated in the afternoon parallel sessions.
IACBE’s mission of advancing academic quality in business programs through evidence-based accreditation contributed to SBA’s success, with the conference being one of many programs the international organization provides to its partner schools.
The IACBE accredited the HAU-SBA programs last January 9 and got certified in Orlando, Florida, after three months.
