Destined to Hope for Love

We may not be fully aware of it but time will reveal to us what we truly perceive.

“Love moves in mysterious ways, it’s always so surprising…” This is one of the lines of a famous song we all know. There is this ‘kilig’ vibe we feel every time we hear this love song. This song only connotes that love always makes its way towards us, directly or indirectly. Oftentimes, we do not recognize that what we feel is already love. We can never tell the feelings we have at these points because of the confusion enveloping our minds. We may not be fully aware of it, but time will reveal what we truly perceive.

There are moments in our life when we may ask ourselves, “Darating pa ba siya?” or “May para sa akin ba talaga?” Believe me, every person who waits for their special someone thinks this way. However, there will come a time when one becomes impatient for someone who may or may not appear. But hey, cheer up! Although you may be waiting in vain for that perfect one, never forget to appreciate the so-called “Season of Waiting” because, through it, you will be able to get to know more about yourself and who you are. Always remember that good comes to those who wait.

To be able to have a successful relationship, commitment is always mandatory. This should be done by both persons who are in that relationship. They must remember why they started that relationship in the first place. What is the sense of going into a relationship if both of you are scared to commit? Being committed may seem easy to understand, but its true essence and meaning are deeper than the ocean.

God has only three answers to our prayers—yes, no, and not now. When God says “Yes”, it means that he or she is the right person who will serve as a good influence to you and may even change your life for the better. Most of the time, this answer is what we are waiting for. It is what we always want to hear from God. On the other hand, when God says “No”, it is His way of protecting you from people who will harm you as a person and who will torment your feelings. Lastly, “Not now” means that you should wait until the answer unfolds. It is not yet the right time for you to have a relationship.

Nothing is impossible with love. What is meant to be will always happen and will always find its way. That is why we get hurt by someone who tries to force things to happen. Yes, love may seem impossible for you, but remember this: if you find that significant other, make sure that it was made out of love and not just by force. When we keep on doing our own will, we may not recognize that it could bring anguish to our life. What we do not know is that there is something that God has planned for us. We are destined to have something more in life.

Always think of this—His will and not yours. Let God bring you to the person whom you truly deserve. Unexpected things might happen in the future; we do not know what it holds for us. I certainly believe that if you are not ready, of course, love will not come to you. But once you have grown into a person whom you are destined to be, then maybe that is the time that love is now ready for you. A chapter in your life unfolds as you enter a new story that will shape you as a person.
