OSA heads Angelite Leadership Training Program for Student Leaders

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) organizes a Leadership Training Program, an orientation about office policies, solicitation, and fundraising for the different councils, organizations, and publications of Holy Angel University (HAU) via Zoom, today, July 27.

The program consists of numerous discussions commencing with Ms. Norilyn Pineda, the Cluster Head of the Institute of Christian Formation and Social Integration (ICFSI), as she explained the function of their office and the services it offers. Together with her is Prof. Lorna Tyson, Character Education Officer, as she discussed the Character Education Partnership (CEP) or the HAU Code of Honor which calls the Angelite leaders to take solemnly their commitment to their role by leading by example.

Ms. Shirley Mae Marcos, Head of the Office of Community Extension Services (OCES), the service arm of HAU, then shared the policies and guidelines for conducting community extension services and was followed by introducing the new chaplain of the University, Rev. Fr. Mark Anthony Torrecarion.

The Director of the University Guidance Center, Ms. Norma Bulaclac, presented the services they provide to the students, such as academic counseling, mental health webinars, psychological testing, and online consultation. It was then followed by Mr. Rowel Surla, the Ancillary Services Supervisor, as he demonstrated the mission, goals, and objectives of their office.

Ms. Imelda H. Ladrillo, the head of the Campus Services Development Office (CSDO), talked over the logistics needed when conducting events inside the University. She also explained the steps in making a reservation for a venue.

Concluding the event, Mrs. Iris Ann Castro, the Director of OSA, conversed about the summary of the office policies and answered further questions from the attendees.
