HAU-SBA recognizes the first sem’s PLs and DLs of AY 2023-2024

Holy Angel University (HAU) holds the first semestral academic recognition ceremonies of the Academic Year 2023-2024 at the St. Francis Javier Building University Theater last Monday, March 18, 2024.

The Academic Affairs Office (AAO), with the assistance of the School of Business and Accountancy (SBA), launched this event in three batches, starting at 7:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM, respectively. The first batch recognized the President’s Listers (PL) awardees of SBA, alongside the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA), School of Computing (SOC), and School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (SNAMS).

The second batch followed at 12:30 PM for the Dean’s Listers (DL) of the 1st year and 2nd year, and 2:30 PM for the third batch, consisting of the 3rd year and 4th year DLs.

In attendance were various HAU and SBA administrators, namely OIC President Mr. Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdez, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Al D. Biag, Program Head Management Department Dr. Rio G. Yutuc, and Associate Dean of SBA Ms. Carmelita Y. Lao.

OIC President warmly welcomed the awardees with an inspirational remark, briefly acknowledging the presence of the parents and guardians involved.

In his message, Mr. Leopoldo emphasized the importance of perseverance and that every effort of students will bear fruit. Thereby, he enjoined the attendees in a short prayer.

“Remind me to strive for excellence, not perfection… all for the greater glory of God.”

Meanwhile, the Associate Dean shared the same sentiments as she gave the welcoming speech to the Dean’s Listers of the second and third batches.
