Holy Angel University (HAU) alumna and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Jonavell B. Santiago joined the nine newly promoted and admitted partners of Punongbayan & Araullo (P&A) Grant Thornton, last July 1.
P&A Grant Thorton is an internationally renowned and award-winning professional service — receiving various recognition from capital markets and internal standard regulating bodies for its outstanding reputation reverberating globally.
Santiago graduated Magna Cum Laude in two consecutive years, having a degree in BS in Business Administration last 2012 and a BS in Accountancy the following year. Since then, she has been an employee of the organization — which honed her knowledge of financial statement audit engagements of local and multinational companies.
Afterward, P&A Grant Thorton promoted Santiago to Senior Manager, in which she oversees insurance, trading and manufacturing, banking and finance, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate and construction of the firm.
Santiago also worked at Grant Thorton’s UK LLP’s Milton Keynes Office for a year and a half and won a 2021 Founders Award with her colleagues. While recent this year, she partook in the Grant Thornton Emerging Leader Program at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Besides her partnership with P&A, Santiago is also an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Quality Assurance Review Committee, Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP).
